NEW CLIENT PROJECTS IN PROGRESS

Photo shoots, business management & new projects are abound for Dayka Robinson Designs!
This week I’m managing fabrication for some custom pieces for my Master Bedroom project. One of my former clients has recently joined households with her boyfriend and they’re looking to finally give his (their) room what it deserves.
It’s basically a blank canvas which, of course, every designer lives for!!!
And their concept:
Factoring in fabrication time, install will put us somewhere around the first week of October and I am excited!! Nothing like a great, cozy bedroom especially as we turn the corner into Fall.
Here’s a peek at their fabrics:

I love that we’re doing a mix of fully custom & semi-custom in this space…can’t wait to share everything with you guys.

And I’m also wrapping up the final details for this kitchen makeover which is going to be such a delight….eye-catching to say the least!

I love that most people would look at this kitchen and fall in love because of all of the things it DOES have–ample storage & square footage, 42″cabinets, natural light, good lighting & high end appliances–yet my client looks at it and sees the need for an overhaul. When it’s all said & done, this will be a great project to show you how you really don’t have to spend $50k to upgrade your kitchen, you just need to know where to strategically spend your money.

Ready, Set, Go

Hey Dayka, I just wanted to say that I love your fabric posts! I find myself now much more willing to mix fabric designs and textures. In fact, I’m ashamed at how matchy matchy I used to be. lol So any way, just wanted to say thanks for the fabric lessons, because this student has been taking notes!
