Stumbled upon this gorgeous home over the weekend.
Owned & designed by blogger Jennie Butson (who herself is an Interior Designer) this 5 bedroom, 3.75 bath house is located on Washington's tony Mercer Island. The interior reminds me a lot of something I think Celerie Kemble would do (who, by the way, has a new website!), so of course that means I love it. I'd probably add a little more vintage in the mix to make it just my taste, but overall, I love the mix of furniture styles, color, vintage lighting, and modern + traditional mashup. The good news? This place could actually be yours for only $3.2M. Yup, it's currently up for sale.

When I saw "Mercer Island" on your FB update, I was like "whoa...that's like my neighbor". I love how you describe Mercer Island as "tony". lol...this is Washington...Seattle at that. Tony is so not this neck of the woods. Pricey (3.2 M even on MI with a whole lot more tree than water view...)yes. Even the pool and SF is probably going to have that one sitting for a bit. Gorgeous home though. And MI is a pretty laid back area (with great access to both downtowns in Seattle and Bellevue). So let me know when you're moving in and we can be neighbors!
