Vintage Bamboo

I have to say, I'm super excited about the newest addition to my growing collection of great pieces!  This vintage mid-century bamboo dresser is just the type of piece to make a so-so space sing, and because I don't have an immediate need for it, I'm storing it until the right occasion (and idea!) comes along. I'm excited about the endless possibilities of my new find and I'm wondering . . .

Have you found anything worth screaming about lately??

That is really nice girl! And you know I love the knobs! They probabaly would look good cleaned up.

Hey, did you get the pink campaign desk in the back?! You know I got them wide eyes!!!

LOVE IT! I wish I could find something like that.
If I'm screaming it's because I've been looking for a small rattan chair with arms. I walked into my favorite thrift store and there it was!!! With a sold sign on it!
I'll keep looking.

My husband's aunt has a really nice leather arm chair that she didn't want anymore. Her cats had scratched up the top of it. She told me she had it for less than a year and paid $300 for it. She gave it to me for free! I was shocked. Once I figure out what fabric I want, it will be getting upholstered.

LOVE it! I've really had a thing for faux bamboo lately, and it looks so great painted. In fact, I found a chair at a yard sale this weekend with faux bamboo legs: http://www.greenyourdecor.com/4956/goodness-yard-sales-cane-chair/

I'm thinking about painting it yellow with a fabulous graphic fabric to replace the vinyl. Still debating, but I want to do it soon!
